Thought this week I’d give a little preview of the novel I keep mentioning in my other posts. I hope you like it and welcome input.

Olivia kept telling herself she was bringing Liam soup to help him feel better but in reality she was super excited to get to spend some time alone with him. They had been skirting around the fact that they liked each other, all of their friends thought that they were dating but they just kept saying that they were just good friends.
They rarely saw each other outside of a group setting. It drove her nuts but no matter how much she tried to get him to do something just the two of them he always claimed to be busy or backed out at the last minute. That didn’t stop them from getting close to each other while with their friends. Olivia not only felt a strong physical draw to him but an emotional bond was forming as well.
Cuddling on the couch, holding hands in public, and phone calls every night didn’t seem to be enough for them to seriously talk about the feelings they had for each other though. It’s not like she didn’t try to talk about it, she was tired of being single and alone when he was so close. Even though she had a ton of other things that she should be doing right now she couldn’t resist the urge to go to him in his time of need and that had to say a lot. Maybe this would be the day that she finally talked about how she was feeling and got the nerve to push him into revealing just where he thought this might be going.
She arrived at his house and before she could knock she realized that she was super nervous and needed to get herself together. Before she could do that the door opened and there he was. Liam was fully and completely tall dark and mysterious. At well over six feet with dark hair and chocolate brown eyes he was a candidate for every girl she knew’s fantasy. Both arms had full sleeve tattoos and even fully dressed his muscles showed just enough for anyone to know he wasn’t someone to be messed with. Most of the time he came across as the brooding punk but when he smiled, which wasn’t often, everyone could see his soft side. That soft side was something that Olivia was dying to get to know better. Half dressed in a black t-shirt and red boxer shorts, it took all her inner strength not to stand there open mouthed gawking at this handsome Adonis standing in front of her.
